Teenage kicks’ c-type limited edition by jamie beeden, personal work. A portrait of a young girl at a club in tufnell park, london 2003. Jamie’s body of work includes varied magazine shoots for q magazine, nme, dazed & confused, mojo and others. Beautiful c-type print 20 x 24″ inches / 51 x 61 cm (paper size) limited to 15 only this size.british culture, music pop culture, england, english, teenage life, social documentary about jamie : you’ve worked with some of the biggest names in the business. How did you get in to music photography? i studied photography at university in the 90’s and a lot of my friends were in bands, sadly my musical ability stretched to a badly played version of wonderwall on an acoustic guitar and no one wants to hear that! so i thought i’d stick with what i was good at, taking photos. After university i moved to london and managed to get two weeks work experience at dazed & confused magazine working for rankin. After the two weeks was up i decided to just keep on turning up for work every day and after about three months he offered me a full time assisting job. Although the wage was pretty small the perks of working there were that you actually got to shoot for the magazine, so i built up my portfolio over the years i was there so that when i finally left to go freelance i had a good amount of published work.
