A shaky balance seems to be about to be discarded by gravity on this intriguing work made in 1993. A modern stylized head, carried by two beautifully edited sticks, is leaning so much that the Roman warrior who is pointing at a blue fantasy fruit, falls off of his pedestal. The glass with red wine – with a brush stabbed through it – is floating above a cleanly designed balustrade. This work, probably of Russian origin, is very imaginative and has a wonderfully characteristic color palette.
