This is a very nice petrol pocket lighter, created in Spain during the Art-Deco period, back in the 1920. The case of the lighter was constructed by the customization of a genuine large Spanish silver coin of 5 pesetas, struck in Madrid in the 1885 in the name of king Alfonso XII. It is fitted with a concealed three hinges bar and a snap push closure.
Weight: 28.75 Grams, (18.45 Dwt).
Measurements: Diameter of 38 mm and a width of 8 mm (1.51 x 0.32 Inches).
Hallmarks: No marks, tested for .900 sterling silver.
Collateral: This lighter is accompanied by a presentation jewelry pouch.
