Vintage Design
This mid-century ceramic vase from around the 1960s was designed by Jacques Pouchain (1925 – 2005). The milk-pitcher-shaped vase features Pouchain’s signature cloudy glaze. Pouchain added vertical lines with mid-height detailing which encircle the body of the vase, there are darker horizontal glazed forms cross the vertical lines and a subtle magenta comes through the lighter portions particularly near the handle and mouth. The maker’s mark reads ‘L’Atelier Dieulefit’.
