Vintage Design
A fantastic vintage French Majolica Turtle Tureen by Michel Caugant. These terrines were decorated by hand, from the famous charcuterie Michel Caugant. It is from the 1970s and these tureens are by now very collectable, and this is a very cute one example and in a fantastic condition. The pattern on the lid is just amazing, it has a warm blue color and intricate glazing, very life-like, the body has a cream color. It is stamped underneath and it is in a great condition showing very little signs of usage.
It is 10cm high, 25cm wide and 18cm deep. (3.93″ & 9.84″ and 7.08″)
