Empire Style Marble and Bronze Clock Set, Late 1800s, Set of 5

The main element is equipped with bronze inkwells underlined by a shaped cord. They contain small glass containers, originally intended to hold ink. Their lids are chiseled and topped with a pine cone.
The center presents a rectangular pedestal with a gilded eagle. It supports a bronze with a brown patina representing an eagle with spread wings, resting on a gold-colored rock, and holding in its beak a sphere serving as a mechanical clock.
The whole rests on circular feet.

The mail holder, conceived in the same spirit, offers four elements in gradation and at regular intervals, slightly shaped. A chiseled molding of an eagle with outstretched wings adorns the front.
This object rests on four claw feet.

The rectangular pen tray, with a chased brass base, is decorated on the top with a gilded patina eagle landing on an openwork motif of flowers and scrolls.
The interior, slightly curved, facilitates the grip of the writing instruments.

The blotting pad, with a brass base, is equipped with a large button handle and decorated with chimera motifs.

The stamp represents a golden eagle in a waiting position, clutching a thunderbolt between its talons, on a square base.

This desk set, as complete as it is rare, will elegantly dress up your desk.
