The center of the composition is a round white field decorated with a blue ornament. The sides of the vessel are decorated with alternating red and cobalt zones in the center of which there is a medallion with a decoration in the form of cherry blossoms or fish and flowers. The vessel stands on original stands made of black painted and varnished wood.
The dish, thanks to the wonderful decorations and the base, takes on a decorative character.
Porcelain is named after the Japanese port of Imari, from where these products were transported to Europe. Imari porcelain was popular in Europe at the end of the 17th century, becoming a must-have in Rococo and later Classicist interiors. The porcelain was imported straight from China. The main importers were the English and the Dutch.
