Antique French Louis XVI Rouge Marble Top Parol Table 18th C

An antique French Louis XVI wood carved parol table with shaped rouge marble top over polychromed base. The apron has floral elements carved about four sides and flower heads framed at each corner. The table is presented upon four slender legs, each turned and fluted with carved chandelles (candle motif). The legs are braced at underside of the table and joined together at the center with a raised floral medallion at the center, gilt highlights throughout, 18th century.
