Superb mid-20th Century art deco solid silver corkscrew and bottle opener, the corkscrew has a steel helix screw mounted on the solid silver handle piece. The bottle opener is solid silver and in the same angled style. This corkscrew and bottle opener set, complete with original box is a charming testament to the enduring craftsmanship of a bygone era. Both hallmarked English Silver (925 standard), Birmingham, year 1933 (J), Maker SL (William Suckling of Birmingham).
