1980s “Dancing Sea Life” Enamel and Cast Sterling Pin by Nic Jonk –

This is a boldly colored enamel and sterling silver brooch by Dutch sculptor Nic Jonk in collaboration with Jos Peperkamp. Made in 80s in the Netherlands it is #1 from an edition of 99. It has the sterling hallmarks and Nic’s signature on the back.

Our family has many pieces of jewelry, sculptures, paintings, and prints by Nic Jonk because he was a dear friend before his passing in 1994. He was at our home in Santa Cruz, CA, for an art show and gave many pieces to my mother.
