This is part of Chairish’s Costume Jewelry assortment.
This is a beautifully colored enamel brooch by Dutch sculptor Nic Jonk in collaboration with Jos Peperkamp. Made in 80s in the Netherlands. It is signed on the gold-colored back.
Our family has many pieces of jewelry, sculptures, paintings, and prints by Nic Jonk because he was a dear friend before his passing in 1994. He was at our home in Santa Cruz, CA, for an art show and gave many pieces to my mother.
