The embroidered appliques in fine silk and gold and silver threadwork with coloured glass, sequins and mirror simulating jewels in deep relief worked onto the original red velvet textile.
Amphora holding stylised floral arrangements in each corner alluding to the antique joined by floral trailing stems. The centre with a blue and brown velvet coat of arms embroidered with gilt and silver metallic thread. The shield surmounted by the coronet of a Count. Trimmed gold braid and with textile backing.
Currently being cleaned and tears to gold braid border being repaired
