Beautiful set (3) of authentic rice bowls made of red lacquered wood (Urushi) with a floral theme applied in gold (Maki-e).
The decoration is hand-painted.
This set is dated to the Taishō period (1912-1926). Marked on the underside.
Beautiful as interior decoration, nice warm red colour.
Dimensions: diameter 11 cm, height 8.5 cm.
In good condition, light signs of age.
