Large festive Art Nouveau silver basket in Biedermeier style: Constriction over a slender elliptical foot and then bulbous widening body with rich openwork decoration over the entire wall, and with changing pattern in various stages, overlaid with rich relief decoration in the form of lush floral arrangements and festoons playing around oval cartouches, the front and back with floral decoration in relief at the height of the wavy raised rim with pairs of birds beaking each other, overarching, movable strap handle with central cartouche embedded in flowers, flanked by openwork flower baskets and stylized flowers. Colorless matching glass insert with curved cut on the upper edge.
