Daikokuten is one of the seven gods of fortune (Shichifukujin) in the Japanese religion. Daikokuten is the god of wealth, trade and agriculture, often depicted with a magic hammer (uchide no kozuchi) and a bag of treasures.
The translation of the Japanese calligraphy: “God of Wealth Daikokuten, Dispeller of disasters and misfortunes.”
