Pair of large candelabra crafted in patinated bronze, accentuated with gilt bronze accents. Each antique candleholder is richly decorated with busts and mythical creatures inspired by the medieval bestiary. The base is highlighted with Chimera and openwork foliages, resting atop three claw feet. Classical crowned woman busts adorn the stem that elevate the five-light bronze branches. Each bronze candelabra is topped by a majestic heron. This interpretation of the medieval taste is striking, circa 1820. Dimensions: W 8.7 in – D 11in – H 13.4in. Dimensions: L 22cm, P 28cm, H 34cm.
