Sculpture in Bronze with brown patina signed Eugène de Gaspary, Parisian sculptor of the end of the XIXth century having received an honourable mention in 1894 at the universal exhibition.
This work depicts a Setter in a standing position on its paws, waiting for its master’s instructions. His tense body forms a straight line from his muzzle to the tip of his tail in perfect balance.
On the terrace we find the signature of the artist. The set rests on a cherry red marble veined with white and gray, with chamfer.
This animal work in bronze gives a feeling of serenity and honors the loyalty of this hunting dog.
